Hundreds come out to pay their respect for fallen Mobile firefighter

VIDEO: It was a somber day across the Port City, as hundreds gathered to honor the life and legacy of a fallen firefighter. Marcine Crawford Jr., a driver with Mobile Fire-Rescue, was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon. He was one of three people killed in a crash near Wilmer earlier this month, after a driver struck him and several other motorcyclists. The accident happened on April 13 off Highway 158. Crawford was remembered not only for how he did his job, but also how he lived his life and inspired others to always do better. It was a packed-out building at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. Rows were filled with fellow firefighters, family, friends, and colleagues. There were some smiles, tears, and even laughs as stories were shared on the many lives he touched.
