VIDEO/PHOTOS: An SUV caught fire in Loxley Saturday morning. WKRG News 5 Photojournalist Dan Kettinger captured video of a vehicle fire on Highway 59 near I-10. Loxley Fire says a woman and two children were traveling when they saw smoke coming from the engine. They pulled over and got out. That’s when the fire began to pour out of the vehicle. In the video, you can hear and see small explosions from the SUV as it burned. The driver told us “God was looking out” for her. No one was hurt. Loxley firefighters responded and put the inferno out in seconds. It’s not immediately clear what may have started the fire.
