Fire damages home, property in McIntosh

VIDEO: A fire in Washington County damaged a home and several pieces of property Friday evening in McIntosh. According to a Facebook Post by the McIntosh Volunteer Fire Department, crews were called to a home on Walker Arch Road after 5:30 Friday night. When they got there, firefighters found a home, two sheds, and two vehicles on fire. Firefighters say the vehicles were heavily damaged. The post does not say how the fire may have started. The post also thanks volunteer fire departments in Tibbie, Wagarville, Fairford and Charity Chapel. McIntosh VFD said in a Facebook Message no one was hurt and they don’t know what caused the fire at this time.
