PHOTOS: Huntsville Fire & Rescue crews battled a train car fire in Downtown Huntsville Sunday afternoon. The fire was near the Historic Huntsville Depot, with three Huntsville Fire & Rescue trucks on the scene. Huntsville Fire & Rescue told News 19 that around 6:17 p.m., crews were dispatched to the Huntsville Depot Museum after multiple callers reported seeing a train car in flames. HFR said they had four trucks respond to the scene, who put out the fire. HFR said there was no damage to any surrounding buildings, as far as they know of, and there were zero reported injuries. “The train car is a total loss,” HFR said.
