VIDEO/PHOTOS: An RV in Ballard caught fire Tuesday afternoon on a road that is now littered with trailers, tents and people's belongings.
Startling video captured by witnesses showed the moment the RV went up in flames on Northwest Ballard Way.
The Seattle Fire Department responded to the scene and were able to put the fire out. The department said, thankfully, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
One woman living in a trailer on the street told KOMO News she could feel the heat of the fire from inside her trailer. The woman said she grabbed her fire extinguishers and tried to help put out the flames. Orange tickets posted on RVs parking along the street say the city will be towing and removing any tents, vehicles, or belongings that remain on the road come May 25.
