Firefighters battled a fire that broke out between two houses in Pasco Wednesday night. Just after 7:30 p.m., Pasco Fire responded to reports of a backyard fire in the area of 7th and Sylvester St. Once on scene, fire leaders said they located a large shed on fire in the backyard of a home in the 700 block of W Yakima St. Firefighters said two homes were threatened due to the close proximity, but firefighters were able contain the flames from spreading. Officials said no one was hurt and no houses were damaged. The cause is currently under investigation.
