No injuries reported in Ishpeming house fire

The Ishpeming Fire Department said no one was injured during a house fire in the City of Ishpeming Thursday evening. At 10:00 p.m., the Ishpeming Fire Department was called to a structure fire on West Johnson Street. When the first unit arrived at the scene, it found a home was fully engulfed with flames coming through the windows. No one was reported to be home at the time of the fire, and units stayed on scene for four hours until the fire was completely put out. The last unit cleared the scene at 2:00 a.m. The Ishpeming Fire Department was assisted by Ishpeming Township Fire Department, Marquette County Rescue 131, UP Health Systems-Bell 111, Ishpeming Police Department, the Michigan State Police, Ishpeming Department of Public Works, Marquette County Central Dispatch, Semco Energy, and UPPCO.
