Five people are recovering after taking a fall while on the job in Glasgow. Barren County Coroner Tim Gibson and members of the East Barren Volunteer Fire Department responded to a death call on Old Frank’s Mill Road around 5 p.m. Monday. Gibson told WBKO that himself and four volunteer firefighters were carrying the deceased out of the home when the deck of the building collapsed, causing them to fall around 10 feet. Everyone went to the hospital where they were treated for minor injuries sustained by the fall, Gibson said. No major injuries were reported, and everyone is expected to make a full recovery.
