Multiple fire departments responded to an early morning field fire Tuesday outside of Sac City, Iowa. The Sac City Fire Department says the call came in at about 4:20 a.m. and crews from across the area responded, including the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Officials say one house was threatened by the field fire, but crews were able to stop the fire before it got too close. No one had to be evacuated due to the fire. At least 120 acres were burned during the fire. Officials say the fire took place in a wetland area and several trucks got stuck.
