A 2-year-old boy is rushed to the hospital after being pulled from the waters off Tumon. First responders got the 911 call around 12:43 p.m. today of a near drowning at Gun Beach. Guam Fire Department spokesperson Nick Garrido said the child was rescued by a family member. He was not responding. Beachgoers performed CPR on the boy. Garrido says he was responsive and regained consciousness by the time medics showed up. The child was taken to the Guam Memorial Hospital. His condition has not yet been released.
