Four individuals were brought to the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation for further observation following a two-vehicle collision in Chalan Kanoa on Thursday morning, according to Robert Mojica, Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services public information officer.
No serious injuries were reported, he added.
At 9:40 a.m. Thursday, a female caller called 911 to report a two-vehicle collision in front of Great Harvest Bakery on Beach Road in Chalan Kanoa, Mojica said.
One vehicle with two passengers was heading south when it collided with another vehicle pulling out of the parking lot of a business establishment, he added.
“Due to the nature of the call, all Medics responded to the scene at 9:41,” Mojica said. “At 9:43, Medic 1 and Rescue 1 were the first arriving units. There was a total of four patients that were treated on scene, fully immobilized and transported to the hospital in Medic 1, Medic 2 and Medic 3,” Mojica added.
