A woman trapped in a second-floor apartment during a two-alarm fire was removed Sunday morning in the 1800 block of Honeysuckle Lane, according to Atlanta Fire Rescue.
The department did not indicate if the woman was injured.
A water heater caught fire around 10:30 a.m., with firemen finding heavy fire coming out of the three-story, multi-family apartment building, according to the department. There were no other occupants aside from the woman located, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
