Tucson Fire Department crews extinguished a fire at a single-story apartment complex early Monday morning. TFD says the call came in just before 5:30 a.m. and units arrived on the scene at 5:33 a.m., bringing the fire under control by 5:40 a.m. Firefighters from Battalions 1 and 2 responded to the incident, which occurred on the 3000 block of Grant Road. No injuries were reported. According to TFD, Red Cross was contacted to help the displaced tenant. TFD says the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
