VIDEO: Two people are injured and residents are without power after a fire spread inside a mobile home park in Mesa overnight. Mesa fire said the blaze started in a single trailer and quickly spread to two others at a mobile home park near Main Street and Alma School Road. About 70 people from the park and a nearby gas station were evacuated while firefighters worked to control the fire. Mesa Fire Captain Chris Tiller said two people were hospitalized with “very minor” injuries. No other injuries were reported, but one firefighter became overheated and was treated at the scene. Tiller said all three mobile homes were destroyed in the fire. A total of six residents from those units are now displaced. He said electricity is out in the entire mobile home park, affecting about 22 units, and there is a downed power line.
