The city of Glendale and Maricopa Ambulance will work together to respond to residents’ needs faster. An event was held at the Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center on Thursday where the city and Maricopa Ambulance announced its collaboration. Maricopa Ambulance will provide 13 new ambulances to the Glendale EMS, with advanced life-support equipment and national award-winning advanced safety systems. The company will begin responding to all 911 calls from the city starting next month. Glendale Fire Chief Terry Garrison said there will be three ambulances dedicated just for Glendale, which will effectively decrease the response time.
