VIDEO: A massive fire Monday afternoon sent black plumes of heavy smoke over south Jonesboro. Around 3:45 p.m., multiple fire trucks, engines, and battalions responded to a fire in the 3100-block of West Parker Road. The Jonesboro Fire Department confirmed the fire started while someone was burning trash behind their building. The fire then got out of hand as it spread to surrounding brush areas in the aftermath.
