Investigators want to know what sparked an early morning house fire.
Around 3 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, the Jonesboro Fire Department responded to a residential fire in the 2200-block of Mary Jane Drive. According to the battalion chief, when crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed. He added that no one was hurt.
It took firefighters just a few minutes to knock down the flames, but they stayed on the scene to look for hot spots. The chief said an investigator will try to determine the cause.
