Crews respond to fire at University of Arkansas agricultural building in Fayetteville

VIDEO: Emergency crews were called to the scene of a fire off of Garland Avenue at the University of Arkansas’ North agricultural campus on Tuesday night. According to University of Arkansas Police Department Captain Gary Crane, a machinery shed caught fire. Fayetteville Fire Department, with assistance of Farmington & Prairie Grove Fire Departments, was dispatched at 11:13 p.m. in response to the blaze. Crews had the fire in control at about 12:10 a.m. and left the scene at 3 a.m. No injuries were reported. Inside the shed, there was farm machinery, including two tractors. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
