PHOTO: The back end of a popular restaurant in downtown Opelika has collapsed due to the heavy rain. Opelika Fire Department is on scene at Niffer’s Place restaurant along South Railroad where the back part of the roof fell. Thankfully nobody was inside, and there are no reported injuries. First responders are cutting power to the building and also addressing a possible gas leak.
