In Enterprise this month, the fire department’s “pre-incident planning” is underway with the department asking businesses in the “City of Progress” to assist them if the “unthinkable” were to happen. Enterprise Fire Chief Chris Davis shows on the department’s website where city business owners can enter their (pre-fire) plans on an online form. It will allow the addition of contents inside and a place for pictures to be posted. Eventually, all the information will be “compiled” and can be used by firefighters If they are responding to a “blaze” at a specific business. Chief Davis says “to make sure our response is as efficient as possible. That we have the most updated information and also have the safest environment and also have knowledge ahead of time of the fire for our first responders.”
