Birmingham firefighters are investigating an early morning fire at a business. The fire happened at Martin’s Paint and Body Shop on 1st Avenue North. Battalion Chief William Lipscomb says the fire appears to have started out back and then spread inside the business causing extensive damage. The fire did not reach the paint storage room. No injuries were reported.
