We are excited to announce that Western Fire Chiefs Association (WFCA) has formed a new cooperative procurement partnership with Sourcewell, the largest government cooperative procurement organization in North America. Sourcewell (formerly NJPA) is committed to serving the public safety industry and bringing innovation to the fire service.
In 2002, WFCA created the FireRescue GPO in response to a growing demand for group purchasing options within the fire service. WFCA partnered with National Purchasing Partners (NPPGov), to serve thousands of purchasing members across the nation through the FireRescue GPO program.
As of October 31, 2019, WFCA and NPPGov have mutually agreed to dissolve their partnership. It has been a great pleasure to serve our purchasing members in conjunction with NPPGov, and we thank them for their support of our association. We look forward to developing new opportunities and offerings with Sourcewell while continuing to support fire chiefs associations nationwide. Sourcewell’s vast resources and industry knowledge will provide great value to fire service members.
