The crown jewel of our city is the River Walk, situated along the Snake River, which offers six miles of bike- and pedestrian-friendly pathways and ample exhibit and performance space. A number of free community events are held along the River Walk throughout the year. The highlight event of the summer is our Independence Day Celebration, which boasts a 100+ float parade and the largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi, complete with live music, food trucks, activities, and premium views of the fireworks timed perfectly with patriotic music that can be heard throughout the outdoor venue.
