Job Summary:
The Louisville Fire Protection District (LFPD) is comprised of three fire stations located in Louisville, Colorado in beautiful Boulder County. The LFPD Fire Marshal performs supervisory and skilled fire prevention, community risk reduction, and comprehensive fire investigation duties (see the essential duties and responsibilities below). This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, administrative position reporting to the Fire Chief. May require additional work hours for incident response, training, meeting attendance, inspections, plan reviews, and the performance of specific administrative duties. The Fire Marshal will be one of the Public Information Officers for the LFPD.
