The Oregon Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) would like to invite all qualified applicants to apply for (2) open Deputy State Fire Marshal positions. The current vacancies are District# 1 (Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook counties) and District# 12 (Douglas County).  We are looking for fire professionals who are passionate about public service and possess a strong desire to increase the fire and life safety of Oregonians. Our mission at OSFM is to protect people, property, and the environment from fire and hazardous materials and to provide “Premier Public Safety Services”. The office carries out these duties through prevention education, Oregon Fire Code adoption and enforcement, preparedness and emergency response activities, and strong partnerships with the Oregon fire service.
