The City of Rockaway Beach, Oregon is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Fire Chief:
$ 75,000 - $85,000
The City of Rockaway Beach is located in Tillamook County Oregon and provides a wide range of services to its citizens and visitors. Current population is approximately fourteen hundred with a vibrant tourism industry.
The current Fire Department is all volunteer with the Fire Chief retiring after 60 years of service. This position will be the first paid position in the Department’s history.
The Fire Department responds to calls for assistance within the city and also to the Twin Rocks and Nedonna Beach areas. These areas are adjacent to the City and are currently under contract with the City to receive Fire Department Services.
