This class is supported by a grant from the ODOT/DMV Tra?c Safety O?ce to strengthen the care provided by rural emergency responders to vehicle crash victims on Oregon roadways; reduce vehicle crash scene times; and support the EMS work force by acquiring CE that is applicable to maintain their EMS licenses. Moulage artists are needed to help with rural/frontier EMS training events in Oregon that accomplish those objectives.

In order to qualify for the grant-supported fee, individuals must agree to perform moulage duties during training events in rural/frontier areas of Oregon. The low-cost course fee is $100. Anyone wanting to attend that does not meet that criteria may be considered for participating by paying the standard course fee if there are open seats -- contact us for arrangements.

Moulage Supplies and Kits

A basic moulage kit is included with the course fee. A more advanced kit can be purchased during course registration to receive at the class, or ordered while attending class.

Course Description

This 2-day hands-on workshop will provide new and experienced artists alike with an opportunity to learn and refine techniques for realistic injury simulation. Upon completion, artists will have the moulage skills to support training and exercise for a range of audiences, including Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteers, professional first responders, and clinical practitioners.
