2022 OREGON EMS CONFERENCE | OREGON EMS ASSOCIATION
REGISTER NOW!

HELLO!

The Oregon EMS Association (OEMSA) is working VERY hard to bring back an in-person Conference for Oregon EMSPs with excellent education opportunities. We also learned from the COVID-19 pandemic that there are many people that desire a virtual option for CE. Another very important aspect of the Oregon EMS Conference in the past has been scholarships to support attendance by those that simply could not participate without financial assistance. We have received funding and are now able to add those features to this year's Conference!

As you read on, please know that we need your help spreading the word about the Conference. We hope you will share with others and help us rebuild by getting as many people as we can to participate this year!

ADDITIONAL NOTE | OEMSA EDUCATION OUTREACH

The OEMSA has started a program to deliver grant funded, hard-to-get CE courses to rural/frontier areas in Oregon. This is accomplished by teaming with the newly formed Oregon EMS Education Foundation (OEMSEF). We are seeking host sites around the state to have classes for up to 24, perhaps larger if space & equipment allow for it. These classes provide 8-16 hours of CE. Courses such as Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC), Geriatric Education for EMS (GEMS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), and others developed by the National Association of EMTs (NAEMT). To see all of the NAEMT courses, go to naemt.org/education. To contact us about hosting classes, you can email us at oremsassn@gmail.com. Currently we have PHTLS classes scheduled and will be adding more. Please see our OEMSA Education PHTLS Page at https://oregonemsconference.wildapricot.org/page-18110.
