One person was reported to have died in a house fire in Shelton Monday night. Firefighters were called to the fire at South 10th Street and Railroad Avenue at 5 p.m. Chopper 7 was over the scene just after 6 p.m. when the fire had burned a hole in the roof. MasonWeb TV.com reports that one person was able to escape from the second floor, but a second person did not make it out and died in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
