Firefighters were forced to defensively battle flames that broke out early Monday morning at a home in the Crown Hill neighborhood of Seattle. That meant that firefighters applied water outside the house to protect other homes. According to the Seattle Fire Department, everyone was out of the house when the fire was reported just before 3 a.m. in the 9000 block of 12th Avenue Northwest. A firefighter suffered a minor injury that happened outside of the burning structure, according to the fire department.
