A small fire in a downtown Seattle apartment was quickly extinguished Wednesday evening. The fire broke out just 5:00 p.m. in a second floor unit of the complex located at 4th Ave. and Vine St. in the Belltown neighborhood. Crews said the fire broke out in the kitchen. The resident and two pets made it out safely. No other apartments were impacted. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
