Bruce Kroon, a veteran fire service chief officer with more than 26 years of experience, will become the City of Bothell’s next Fire Chief, effective Sept. 18. Kroon was selected after a national search.
“I’m very excited to have Bruce join us to lead the City’s Fire and EMS Department,” said Jennifer Phillips, City Manager for the City of Bothell. “He brings a collaborative leadership style and significant local experience in the fire service.”
Kroon drafted the original interlocal agreement for the East Metro Training Group, formally establishing the consortium that now serves more than a dozen local fire departments.
