We aren’t the only ones prepping our vehicles for this weather. First responders have to be ready too. KLEW News Palouse Bureau Chief, Alex Crescenti has more. Here at the Pullman Fire Department they've been receiving calls on a regular basis, even before the winter weather hit, but now that it's here they've had to adapt to the conditions at hand. “The first snow is always the hardest for the citizens they're not prepared just to have with snow tires and the city streets aren't quite ready,” said Fire Chief Heston. Pullman Fire Chief Mike Heston says since the snow started to fall, they’ve seen some minor accidents due to the weather.
