Firefighters from at least three departments and other emergency personnel rushed about 7 a.m. on Sept. 19, to a house fire at the west end of Hill Street just below the US 11W bypass. Firefighters at the scene said the white vinyl siding-clad frame house apparently was not occupied at the time the fire was discovered Units of the Rogersville Fire Department, Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department and Striggersville Volunteer Fire Department were on the scene when a Review reporter reached the scene about 7:30 a.m.
