Partnering with the Tennessee Fire Service and Code Enforcement Academy (TFACA), the Dyersburg Fire Department hosted a driving simulator lab for all DFD personnel this past week, Tuesday – Thursday.
The Emergency Response Driver Training Simulator (ERDTS) that all DFD personnel experienced.
The Emergency Response Driver Training Simulator (ERDTS) created real-world experiences that enabled DFD members to hone their skills within a variety of challenging situations. The training allowed the participants to experience real-world situations without the logistical, legal, and moral ramifications that would automatically be attached to a mistake made on the streets.
