Unattended space heaters are to blame for a Shenandoah house fire Wednesday evening. According to Shenandoah Fire Chief Ron Weston, firefighters were called to a residential fire at 809 Fifth Avenue around 5 p.m. Weston says the fire was started by space heaters that were left unattended, and apparently close to combustible materials. No injuries were reported, and damage assessments were not made available.
