A 4-year-old boy struck by a pickup truck on Kauai on Sunday has died. Kauai County officials said today that Albertson Gideon who was flown to Oahu for medical treatment died at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children on Monday from injuries sustained from the traffic crash at Lydgate Beach Park in Wailua. Gideon was struck by a Nissan pickup truck as the driver was trying to park near the playground restrooms shortly before 5 p.m., police said.
