Cobb County firefighters responded to a blaze Tuesday morning at a home with 30 cats.
James Kapish, Cobb fire spokesman, said later that day he wasn’t sure if all the cats were accounted for but many, if not all, were saved.He said one of the three people in the home at County Services Parkway and Chamberlain Circle Southwest in Marietta called 911 about 8:15 a.m.
All three made it out uninjured.
The fire started in an upstairs bedroom, Kapish said, and the damage was extensive. He said the cause was under investigation.
