Panama City Fire Department: Two people sustain life-threatening injuries in structure fire

According to the Panama City Fire Department, officials responded to an early morning fire in the Cove area Saturday. Officials said 12 firefighters, 4 engines, and 1 Battalion Chief responded to the fire. They said four people were inside the structure at the time of the fire. Two of them were reportedly able to leave the structure with assistance of the fire department. W'e're told two other occupants were found inside the structure and were rescued by personnel. They were reportedly taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Panama City Fire Department officials said the structure sustained severe fire damage to the front porch and living room area.
