Three Palm Beach County Fire Rescue employees, including one involved in a lawsuit against the county, have been promoted to new positions, department officials announced Monday.
Interim Fire Rescue Chief Mike Mackey said that Dan Millstone has been named the department’s deputy chief of support services; Joey Cooper has been named deputy chief of administrative services and Jill Gregory has been named executive assistant to the fire chief. The changes come in the wake of a period of turmoil for the department, including the resignation of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Chief Jeffrey Collins after sexual harassment and retaliation complaints.
