Two people have died following a travel trailer fire, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say family members who lived on the property of the fire had discovered the trailer had been burned around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. Investigators identified the victims as Caroyln Melnik and Billy Sanders. After further investigation, deputies believe the fire began while Melnik was sleeping, and suspected she was unaware that the fire had started. Deputies also say it appeared that Sanders was attempting to alert Melnik.
