Avon Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD) Chief Michael Trick proudly announces the appointment of Robert Sanderson from Firefighter to the position of Lieutenant. “I’m very proud when volunteers step up to the leadership plate and make the most of the opportunities available to them,” says Avon Volunteer Fire Department Chief Michael Trick. “Lieutenant Sanderson has been a dedicated member of the Department since he joined and I am confident in his experience and his expertise to inspire others.” Lieutenant Robert Sanderson joined the AVFD in 2016. He became a regular member in March 2017 and was promoted to Lieutenant of Company 1 in June.
