The West Hartford Exchange Club has once again honored the Police and Firefighter of the year for the Town of West Hartford at its club meeting on April 5th.
Over 200 police and firefighters, friends and family Exchange Club members were in attendance to salute this year's honorees, Firefighter Robert Howe and Officer Christopher Tyler. Master of Ceremonies, Joe Righenzi, Exchange Club President, began the evening's event expressing deep appreciation on behalf of the Exchange Club to the police and firefighters of the town for their service to the community. Shari Cantor, Deputy Mayor, read the proclamations and Asst. Fire Chief Mike Sinisigalli, Battalion Chief Bill Kall, and Police Chief Tracey Gove gave testimonials about the two honorees and the background on how they were selected based on their outstanding service.
