The Grand Junction and Clifton Fire Departments responded to a trailer home fire early Tuesday morning that sent one person to the hospital. The home was located on 3rd Street in Clifton. The fire broke out around 3 in the morning. Fire crews found one person in the home. That person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Firefighters were told there was a dog inside the home, but the dog has not been found. Officials say the fire started inside the trailer, but an exact cause is not yet known. The trailer was destroyed in the blaze.
