The Mountain View Fire Rescue Board of Directors selected four finalists on Dec. 22 for the position of fire chief. The fire district serves 184 square miles, including Dacono, Erie, Mead, Niwot, and unincorporated areas of Boulder and Weld counties. The four finalists are: David Beebe, of Longmont, who is currently serving as interim chief with Mountain View Fire Rescue.
