Mountain View Fire Rescue board chooses 4 finalists for chief

The Mountain View Fire Rescue Board of Directors selected four finalists on Dec. 22 for the position of fire chief. The fire district serves 184 square miles, including Dacono, Erie, Mead, Niwot, and unincorporated areas of Boulder and Weld counties. The four finalists are: David Beebe, of Longmont, who is currently serving as interim chief with Mountain View Fire Rescue. David Mann, who is currently serving West Metro Fire Protection District in Lakewood; and as colonel, chief and regional emergency preparedness liaison officer with FEMA Region VIII for the U.S. Army. Shelby Willis, who is currently serving Largo Fire Rescue in Largo, Fla. Steve Standridge, who is currently serving South Metro Fire and Rescue Authority in Centennial
