VIDEO: Firefighters all over Colorado are totaling up donations after a busy Labor Day weekend collecting donations for the annual Fill the Boot drive to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Fire departments throughout the state pledged to raise more than $1.2 million dollars for MDA this year. Denver7 connected with South Metro Fire Rescue crews collecting donations along with a 10-year-old named Easton Coleman. Easton was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) in February of 2010. DMD is the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in childhood, affecting approximately 1 in every 3,500 boys.
