A wildfire north of Woodland Park started Tuesday at a nearby shooting range in Pike National Forest, the seventh fire in the past two months in the vicinity of the range, according to the U.S. Forest Service. The blaze, known as the Turkey Track 7 fire, was human-caused and was burning on national forest land west of state Highway 67 in Douglas County, according to a Forest Service news release. It had burned 40 acres and was 50 percent contained as of Wednesday night.
