The Rogers Fire Department is building a new station, and to fill it, they're looking for 13 new first responders.
The city already has 7 stations and the most recent one was built two years ago.
The department says it's making the new addition to better serve the booming city.
But community members don't need to worry about the price.
Only 25 percent of the funding will come from their pockets.
The station itself will be funded from the bond issue voters passed in August.
Money for staffing will come from a grant from the Department of Homeland Security.
Community members will be able to see it in far West Rogers, near the Shadow Valley Country Club on a new section of road. Tom Jenkins, the Fire Chief for the City of Rogers, said "We're not only a place of residence, where people move here and live here, we're also a place of commerce and office activity, industrial activity, and so we have a lot of people that come in and live in our city during the day for their job and those people need to be protected."
