A house fire investigation quickly turned into an arson case that led authorities to arrest three teens in connection to the fire, and to charge them with burglary as well.
While crews battled flames, they came across evidence that prompted the arson investigation.
The next day, they also found signs of forced entry into the home, and concluded the house had been ransacked once inside.
Jason Wills, division chief, reported, "The one juvenile that we contacted was carrying a large bag, and that bag was open and one of the fire marshals observed that it contained guns."
Police say they also found evidence that linked the juveniles to another burglary in the same area.
A woman injured in that fire remains in critical condition.
