A Sunday evening fire that destroyed an office building on the city's west side has been ruled an accident. A news release issued Monday by the Little Rock Fire Department (LRFD) states that its Fire Marshal’s Office has determined the fire at the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center was the result of maintenance being performed on the roof. The LRFD says crews were called to 10825 Hermitage Rd. shortly before 6:45 p.m. and found the roof engulfed in flames. About 30 firefighters battled the blaze. The LRFD says the building was a total loss. Crews remained on scene until after 10 p.m. Sunday.
